(Hawaii Department of Transportation) This project included 12 different sites around Oahu. Scope of work was; slope surface preparation, clearing vegetation, recontouring by grading and shaving of slopes, installation of anchored wire mesh along slope above highway (with 542 soil/rock anchors 10-20ft deep with a 4″ shaft), installation of erosion control matting, planting and landscaping with temporary irrigation, installation of articulated concrete block mat, installation and maintenance of erosion control BMPs and providing traffic control, excavation and installation of new 15′ manholes with headwall and riprap.
